According to their official site:Haji Lane is located within Arab Street Singapore, a lively district that is rich in Islamic history and culture. The Sultan Mosque and kampong Glam museum welcome travelers whom want to do a bit of sightseeing. If you relish ethnic shopping, the bazaars here sell cheap wicker items, cheap textiles and perfume, just to name a few.
+++++
Haji Lane now evolves to be one of the fashionista's haven. If you're trying to look for unique and fashionable items, visit Haji Lane but don't expect the prices to be cheap. If you're too much of a cheapskate, go to Bugis Street instead where haggling is possible.
I've been curious about Haji Lane ever since I came here and how some tourists raved about the place. Unfortunately for someone who lives far from the city like me, going to Haji Lane is something to be planned for. On the contrary, my housemate and I went there on an impulse. Hahaha!
And then, we were amazed on what we saw:

One of the shops there carries the Plains & Prints brand. It was so nice to see a Filipino clothing line being sold here. My housemate and I spent almost 2 hours checking each shop until we decided to have dinner. We searched around the area until we settled down on having a Mexican dinner in a resto named Piedra Negra.

The food is great, even the place. We actually didn't notice how spacious the place is. We also met some Filipinos who work there. They're all nice and the master chef too. Hahaha! We had a photo taken from my housemate's camera wherein the master chef is at the back posing with a peace sign. It was so cute. Hahaha!
After dinner, we stopped by at Bugis to check on some branded stuffs. Then we headed back home. The day ended with a full appetite and very tired feet.
Yes, it's true. When the boys are busy, the girls go shopping! Hahaha!
Hugs and Kisses,
