Yes, I love the shoes!

When I was buying a birthday gift for Glenn, I made an excuse of buying something for myself. Haha! Good thing I was able to score a black studded gladiators for only P599. It really look good on me.. definitely worth it!

And since I really love the shoes, I wore it twice in a row. :P

Here's the repeat performance of my studded gladiators:

Glenn's Special Day

Yesterday was Glenn's birthday. Of course, his special day wouldn't be complete without my surprise gift and my traditional routine of calling him at exactly 12 midnight just to greet him a Happy Birthday. Isn't it sweet? :)

So I went to his office and gave him a surprise gift. Yeah, literally a surprise since he's not expecting it all... you know my finances lately, right? :P

and yes, he was really surprised...

then we had dinner with friends at Amici...

We had pizzas, pastas , gelatos and lots of pictures...

After dinner, clair and I had our usual photo shoot for my own version of look book:

And the best thing about it, he love my gift! weeeeeee~~~ <3

When time and mood hinder....

Hi there! I'm back. I am so sorry I was not able to update you guys with what's happening around me for the past few days. You see, my mom just had her shockwave lithotripsy for kidney stone in the ureter and so far, she's doing great. We still don't know whether or not she's going to have another session for that... well, hopefully not. The treatment itself is no joke at all.. esp. when there's a lot of money involved. Yeah, it's freaking expensive! Good thing, dad's got a Philhealth. We were still able to save some for mom's medications.

Anyway, just before mom had her treatment, Glenn and I went on a shopping. I was able to score a black studded gladiators. Will post pics on a different entry. :P

Yeah, I really love the jacket I scored from Bayo...and the bondage shoes as well..

I Wear Peace

I'm back at work after having two days of vacation leaves. Well, it's not really "Vacation Leaves", literally, but a term coined to my absence from work apart from being sick.. 'cause I wasn't. I didn't spend my entire two days leisurely ( which I wished to ) . Apparently, that's not the case. I accompanied my mom to her doctor's checkup, IVP test, etc. I've been her nurse for those 2 days which I wanted to. You know, as much as possible, I want to be present and get involved with her checkups. I've been doing some researches and tell you, I got lots of questions to be asked to the doctor. I want to know the details. Do you get what I mean? Well, I hope.

So despite all the worries, I still managed to pull myself together and be fashionable as I could be.

Here's what I wore today at work:

top from Bench; jacket from Bayo;
jeans from Red (SM); gladiators from Parisian;
bag from MNG

I can do this! We can do this! FIGHTING!

This is it ! FIGHTING!

Mom is going to have some medical tests tomorrow. I've been praying a lot to God hoping that everything would end up well. Yeah, I'm literally crossing my fingers now.

Wish us luck, 'kay? ... :D

Here's what I wore today ( excluding the vest -- it's not mine):

vest: clair's; sheer white top from bazaar;
denim cuffed shorts from GAP;
bondage shoes from Suki

And speaking of the vest, it was pre-ordered online by Clair. It's a plus-sized vest actually, and I am just so happy to try it on. Good thing, it blended well with my outfit... :)

The Brother's Shirt

Last Sunday, I've read an article regarding the 'boyfriend shirt' and how it can help you achieved different looks according to your need. So yesterday... before going to work, I decided to give it a try. I raided my brother's closet to look for a good fitting shirt. Fortunately, I found one -- a plain white basic shirt and tried it on. I also put on some accessories to project a 'rocker chic' look. Isn't it nice?

And that's what I wore at work.

Thank God, the storm is gone...

Finally, all our prayers had been heard! Typhoon Pepeng ( Internationally called as Parma) is now moving outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Due to that, glenn and I attended a Sunday mass to give thanks. Yeah, it should be something to be thankful for.. and of course, we should still keep on praying those who suffered a lot from Ondoy. Hopefully, they could get on their feet as soon as possible. Another thing to be thankful for was the early dismissal from work due to the anticipation arrival of Pepeng. Yey! I got home around 4:30ish in the afternoon. :)

This is what I wore at work last Friday:

top from bazaar; pink blazer from Bayo;
crocs prima in cotton candy; black skinny from Red (SM);
bag from MNG; heart necklace from Stellar by Chynna Ortaleza;
gold/black bangle from Thailand;
assorted bangles from Tomato & my grandmother
