Smokey Friday

Stayed at home even though I'm on vacation. This is not what I usually do as I tend to go out and have some fun. But today, I prefer to be a home buddy.

So to add some spice into my so-called 'vacation', I decided to dress up and applied some makeup.

And then viola!

Lazy Sunday

What else can you do on a Sunday when you're stuck at home on a bad weather? As for me, I could do live streaming, movie marathons and blog and/or facebook stalking. That's how my weekend goes esp. when I am too lazy to go out. I tried a different one today - applying makeup which I have learned from some makeup tutorials online. Admittedly, I never wear any makeups when I am at home 'cause I find it uneasy and heavy. As much as possible I prefer to have a bare face so I could let it breathe and free from any chemicals that might affect my skin. But today, I made an exception {well, for just a few minutes..}

October Madness

"Remember, remember.. the fifth of November". I know this was one of the famous lines from the movie V for Vendetta and apparently, this has been made as today's Facebook status by most of the people I know. Anyhow, time flies so fast that October ended in just a snap. Good thing it ended pretty well. I could still remember how we celebrated boyfie's birthday with some friends who happened to be in Singapore at that time. How boyfie and I did some tourist traditions when our siblings came for a visit. It was tiring but all of us had so much fun.

After all the tiredness I had from the past weeks, I believe I deserve to have some retail therapy. So this afternoon I was off to Orchard where I scored these:

Can hardly wait to go back in gym. Been eating out for the last few days and I certainly need to burn those calories filling up my tummy. Hahaha!

Moved!

Finally, we're done cleaning & organizing our new room. It was tiring and not to say, very time-consuming. We also spent beyond our monthly budget but I guess it's okay since we need to buy some things necessary.

It's not obvious how I love Ikea.. hahaha!

Out & About in Genting Highlands

Second day in Kuala Lumpur and the weather was quite unpredictable. Boyfie and I woke up early to catch the 9:30 trip to Genting. We invited boyfie's cousin {who's now based in Malaysia} to join us. Arrived in KL Sentral around 8:30 am and had a quick breakfast before going to the bus terminal. We availed the Go Genting package from ResortsWorld.

The travel time from KL to Genting Highlands took about 1 hour & a half. From the bus terminal in Genting, we rode a cable car that will take us to the Genting Highlands Hotel & Theme Park. It was so cold and foggy that you won't be able to see the view anymore. I got scared not because of the heights but with the zero visibility & the closed and limited space inside the cable car. I was praying all the time, wishing for our safety. Good thing, we arrived safe despite the strong cold winds that greeted us when we alighted. I could imagine what it feels like to have a winter season.

We walked around the area until we reached the theme park. We have a choice between the theme park or the buffet lunch, we opted for the latter since we thought that Enchanted Kingdom is nicer and bigger. We took some obligatory photos on the theme park entrance and around before we headed to the buffet resto.

When we couldn't bear the coldness anymore, we decided to look for that buffet resto and spend the rest of time there. Our scheduled trip going back to the city was around 4:00 pm. We had so much time to spare on the buffet table. I will post the photos on a separate entry.

It's midnight already, time to sleep. Back to work tomorrow.
