What's in my bag?

Okay. This is sooo old. I should have posted this last week but due to short-term memory loss, I had totally forgotten about it. Well, not until now. Haha!

This was taken last weekend, when carrying a big bag was not a requirement. You see, I'm a big bag person. I'm fond of having big bags where I could literally place another bag inside. Haha! I love bags with many compartments, even I have a bag organizer. I don't know, I guess I just want my bags to be roomy.

The first photo is my fave bag as of the moment. It's a MNG sling/shoulder bag which I bought months ago just before my Singapore trip. If I'm not mistaken, I bought it at around Php 1,600+. Not bad, right? It's the smallest bag that I have and I only used it during weekends { as much as possible }.

The second photo shows the contents of my bag that time.

(1) MNG wallet - Bought it on SALE two years ago. Again, it's roomy and has a lot of compartments too. It contains a few cards like credit cards, ATM cards, HMO card, SSS ID, Timezone card, SM Advantage card and even calling cards. Haha! It also contains receipts, payslips, pictures and of course, money!

(2) Hello Kitty pouch - Got it as a birthday gift from a friend. It now serves as my cellphone holder. It also contains crocheted earrings and bracelet {not in pic} which were also given as a birthday gift.

(3) Pink pouch with bow - Bought it on a local Japanese store. I'm into bows now so that's why I bought it. Besides, I'm also fond of collecting cute or 'kawaii' stuffs. This is where I keep my iTouch and earphones.

(4) Apple iTouch 32gb - Okay, don't be surprised. I don't have much music stored on my iPod. I think I only have around 300 songs and most of it are Kpop and Jpop. Well, I also have few and latest English songs. This is a necessity for me because I simply can't live without music. :P

(5) LG KS360 mobile phone - Used to be a couple phone. Boyfie used to have the black one, not until he bought the Android phone. We used to have 2 mobile phones each { one for Globe, one for Sun }. I used the LG phone for my Sun sim card and the Sony cybershot phone for my Globe. Since boyfie left for SG, there's no use to have 2 phones. I only maintained my Globe using the LG phone. The other phone was given to my brother.

(6) Crocheted scrunchies - This was made by a friend of mine and given also as a birthday gift together with the crocheted earrings and bracelet. I love to tie my hair up when I'm stressed or even during bad hair days.

(7) Small notebook - Because I love to scribbles. I write notes, to-do list, goals, everything what's on my mind. Love the design of the notebook too... it's so me! :D

(8) Big blue plastic comb - I have a long layered hair and I'm having a hard time combing it with a small brush. Luckily, I found one in Watson's to address my hair problem.

So there you have it!

I will probably post another entry related to this -- maybe my big bag version. Haha!

How about you? What's in your bag? :)

Hugs and Kisses,

The day I turned 27 ...

Yesterday marked the end of my 26th year. Before the day ended, I thanked all the people who greeted me. I was extremely overwhelmed by your warm greetings. I loved how you spammed my profile page in Facebook.

As I turned a year older, I promise myself to be a better person. I will stay fit and fab. I will mature even more. I will strive harder to reach my goals. I will be happier.

Lastly, I thanked the Lord for giving me life. May the Lord extend my blissfulness to everyone. Also, I thanked my beloved parents for raising me as a good daughter. Without them, I won't be here to celebrate with you.

So there.. Cheers to another year of love, happiness and fabulousness!

What do I want for my birthday?

Fuji Instax Mini Camera

...because I'm a frustrated photographer just like that.. and that I wanted to capture every single moment of my life. I've been and always been a fan of 'Polaroid' ever since I got amazed on how instant the photos print. I originally like to have a Polaroid camera until I came across with these Fuji Instax Mini cameras being used in a Korean variety show. Admittedly, I fell in love with it on first sight. The style is simply cute, and the photos are really Polaroid-like. The one I saw is in pink color which made me fall in love with it even more. The photos printed are so cute that you may opt to hang it on your wall or post it to your diary or cork board.

But what makes it more interesting is the Limited Edition Hello Kitty Fuji instax mini 25:

and the specs are not bad either:

* Photos comes out instantly * Slimmer version of instax mini 7 * With self take mirror and close up lens * In-build self take mirror * Great for camwhoring * Intelligent flash * Motorized 3 positions, collapsible lens * 2 shutter design for landscape and portrait shots * LCD display film counter * Weight: ~270g. * Dimensions: 112 x 121 x 50.5 (mm) *
I've been searching everywhere to know where I could purchase one. Apparently, most units are available overseas. I saw some units being sold in eBay (but still not available locally) and the price are quite expensive due to taxes and shipping costs.

On the contrary... boyfie saw some units being sold in Singapore. Yey! Seems like what he saw was the mini 7 one.. and not the Hello Kitty model. Oh well, maybe I could just settle on the regular units. Hehe! Boyfie is willing to scout the malls in SG to look for that pink mini 25.

Here's what I am planning to do when I do have the camera:

I am so excited to have one. :)

How Do I Love Thee? Let me count the ways...

Since boyfie's departure is drawing near, I tried to come up with something I could give him. I listed my choices and narrowed it down to two things:

1.) Love Letter - I used to give him one way back in College, from post-it notes to chewing gum wrappers. Yeah, and I remember that he used to have a box where he keeps all the letters I gave him. Too bad, he misplaced it.

2.) Picture - I decided to make a collage out of the pictures we had together. The picture above is the one I created and printed. Thanks to photovisi for the free collage maker application! Haha! I really enjoyed creating the collage.

And oh, just when boyfie and I took a cab on our way home, the radio started playing the classic 'Babe' song:

Babe, I'm leaving, I must be on my way
The time is drawing near
My train is going, I see it in your eyes
The love, the need, your tears

But I'll be lonely without you
And I'll need your love to see me through
Please believe me, my heart is in your hands
'Cause I'll be missing you...

Both of us laugh when we heard the song. Hahaha!
Oh well, I guess, the song is right. I'll be missing him badly.

4 days to go before he leaves... :(

Hugs and Kisses,

Counting down the days...

...so boyfie is scheduled to leave on Saturday afternoon, and I am still on the verge of accepting the entire situation. The idea of him leaving still doesn't sink in though I've cried for a few times already. Weird, right? Haha. Others may find it ridiculous or funny since Singapore is not a far, far away country...and I could go there if I wanted to without any hitch. But the thing is, we've been together for years and we still haven't experienced being apart from each other for weeks, months or even years. I think what I am feeling now is understandable yet still indescribable.

For now, maybe I should start getting used to it. Maybe, this is also the right time to do the things I haven't done before. *sigh*

Alone time perhaps? Not bad, I think.. besides, being alone is different from being lonely. I'd rather choose the former. Being lonely is totally a different story.. and that's what I don't like to experience.

So for now, I would think and mind happy thoughts! ^^
