Can't think of anything right now...

Yeah, this is what I feel right now. There are lots of things I have in mind lately and that includes what happened to the Philippines last weekend. I know, I know, I know... the whole wide world knows about it very well. My family didn't escape from Typhoon Ketsana's wrath. Our house got flooded, chest-deep inside the house. Good thing, we have a second floor. We were able to save most of our appliances. And come to think of it, we're still lucky. Most of our fellowmen got affected.. and it was much worse than what we experienced.

So in the amidst of everything, let's reach out our helping hand and pray to God to keep everyone safe.

Okay so much for that, let's think of happy thoughts for a while (for the sake of this blog).

Last week, Clair and I did some photo shoots. I, channeling those 'lookbook' models, immediately tried different poses as Clair instructed. We were able to take so many photos so I could have more choices. It was really FUN!

Here are some of the photos taken by Clair:

Tiring Wednesday

I'm soooo tired today. I was able to finish some of my 'difficult-to-solve' tasks at work and it was so mentally tiring. I felt that all my energy has been drained and I think I don't have any brain cells left anymore. Good thing, I was able to get a copy of True Blood Season 2 DVD. Yes, I'm going to watch it so I could feel relaxed. And of course, Gossip Girl Season 3.... finally! My office mate already watched it and she's going to give me a copy tomorrow! Yey!!!! I'm so excited to see Chuck-Blair moments again. :)

I somehow feel more relaxed now.. the only thing that keeps on popping on my head.. is the Ralph Lauren bag I saw online.. I want to have one... BADLY! BUT... I'm still weighing my options... so wish me luck, okay?

This is what I wore today at work:

top from bazaar; shoes & cardigan from Landmark;
bag from MNG; trousers from Dorothy Perkins

Tagaytay Getaway

My friends and I went to Tagaytay Highlands last weekend to celebrate Martin's 26th birthday. Friday night, most of us stayed in Orange & Bronze so we could leave Manila early. Glenn cooked his famous 'cream dory fish fillet'. As usual, the preparations took most of his time that he was not able to sleep long enough for the trip. Anyway, we arrived in Tagaytay Highlands at around 10 in the morning. We stayed in a condo owned by Martin's Godmother. The place is so nice and the view from the balcony is so relaxing.

After unloading our stuffs, we went straight to the funicular to catch the 11am ride. Last year, we were not able to experience it, I don't know why. Unfortunately, the cable car was closed. Too bad for the first-timers, they were not able to experience it. We also had swimming at the Camp Highlands despite the coldness of the weather. Yeah, we were able to endure it for an hour. hahaha! Still, it was fun! We also played bowling at the Sports Center and it was my first time, too! :P

There are lots of activities we had done during our stay there. We really had a great weekend!
And oh, I wore the black jumpsuit I ordered online. :D Yeah, it arrived just in time.

jumpsuit from Korea; heart necklace from Stellar By Chynna Ortaleza
white charmed bracelet from Soeur; bag from American Eagle Outfitters
brown metallic havaianas from All Flip Flops; cherry earrings from bazaar

white top (outer) from bazaar; white top (inner) from SM
denim shorts from True Love; pink aviator shades from SM
necklace from The Bead Shop; brown metallic havaianas from All Flip Flops

Excited for the weekend

I went shopping again. This time, I bought a black jumpsuit online. The package I've been expecting today didn't arrive. Actually, I am hoping it will arrive tomorrow so I could wear it on Saturday. My O & B friends and I will be going to Tagaytay Highlands this Saturday to celebrate Martin's 26th birthday. And, it has been a year since I went there and then there was Owie too. Too bad, he's not going to be with us this year. On the other side, there's JP (koya) to replace him so I think it will still be fun! :)

I'm so excited. Please let it be sunny from tomorrow till Sunday.. ;)

So here's what I wore in the office today:

hooded top from bazaar; white top from Redhead;
jeans from Landmark; gladiators from Parisian;
bag from Chinese Laundry

thankful friday

There are two things to be thankful for today.

First, I passed the IBM Certification Exam for Associate Developer - Rational Application Developer for Websphere Software v6.0 which was offered to us for FREE from the IBM Software Conference 2009. Thank you Lord! :) According to IBM, certification exams cost 200 USD. So I think it's a good thing that I still passed the exam 'cause I wouldn't spend that much on my own expense. haha!

Second, my package which I ordered online last Wednesday has arrived. Yipeee!

Everyone, meet my red Little Miss Runway MJ ( Marc by Marc Jacobs) flip flops:

I was actually torn between the red and the navy blue flip flops but the seller said that the red one is nicer. I think so too. Thanks also to the seller for the freebie ~ key dangling earrings! They're so cute. :)

Here are the other colors for the Little Miss Runway flip flops:

Now, I'm broke! hahaha! :P Gotta save money for this coming weekend getaway.. :)

love in full colors

Today, Glenn and I had dinner at Le Coeur de France. We were disappointed. Glenn was not able to try this bread with herbs thingy that he's been looking for. The branch where we went to has limited choices. Anyway, we just ate sandwiches.

After dinner, we decided to walk on our way home since it's quite near already. This reminded me of what we used to do way back in College. Yeah, Glenn and I used to walk from school every time he accompany on my way home so we could have more time together. hahahaha! Kinda cheesy but I find it romantic. :P College LOVE!

The dress I wore to office today is ♥ . I fell in love with the dress on the first time I saw it. That's why I didn't have any second thoughts when I bought it. It's quite expensive for a dress, but still paid for it. hahaha! I think if you really want to have it (i mean, no ifs and buts), it does not matter how much it costs. It's the same feeling I used to have on havaianas. So there you have it... hahaha! :D

dress from Kashieca; assorted bangles from my grandmother;
vintage charmed necklace from bazaar; bag from MNG;
cream flats from Le Donne

Time to have a good night sleep. Good night everyone! :)

Peaches and Pink

Long weekend is finally over. I spent most of my time having DVD marathons, facebook-ing and of course, shopping! Actually, it was totally unplanned. It was my mom who kept on asking me to accompany her to the mall. She's been looking for new dining chairs to replace our old ones. We went to SM Makati first then SM Mall of Asia but later found none. It's a good thing I was able to score the peach dress below for less than 250 pesos. My tiredness gone and the effort was worth it. Another great steal right? :D

So here's what I wore today at work:

unbranded top from Landmark; footless tights from Betty;
faux snakeskin gladiators from Parisian; necklace from Stellar by Chynna Ortaleza
assorted accessories from bazaars; pink bag from MNG

PS:
I went to Landmark again today and the dress is no longer available.
Also, I bought 2 new flats -- same design but diff. colors. for only 999 Php 'cause they're on SALE! :)
