too lazy to post an entry ;(

as per subject, i'll make this post short as possible --- shorter than my previous posts.. :p

Last Monday, James, Kathy, Glenn and I went to Sango! The Burger Master for dinner. And since we're already having a 'Japanese' dinner, we decided to eat sushi, sashimi, tempura and maki as well at Shiro-uma -- a sushi bar which is just 2 stores (Korean resto & coop, a japanese grocery) away from Sango!

so what's the bottom line?

simple.

i craved for a japanese food.. that's all, nothing too special. XD

fast forward and the day ended with a full stomach! :D

On Palawan

so tomorrow's the BIG day! I, together with my friends, will be going to Palawan. yey! *excited*
Our flight is scheduled at 8:15 in the morning via Cebu Pacific Airlines so we decided to meet at the airport at around 6 a.m. .. and until now, we're haven't done with our itinerary. Gambatte ne!

Anyway, hopefully, everything will be settled within this day. *sigh*

can't wait to lay my eyes on El Nido!
and be Virginie Ledoyen for 4 days...

"Trust me, it's paradise. This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it. "

Palawan, Here I Come!

We're almost ready for our much-awaited trip. So next week, our feet will finally step on the islands
and our eyes will finally see the wonders of Palawan. Can't wait!

We've been waiting for this trip for months now and I could still remember how we decided to pursue the trip. We really had series of discussions and change of plans. Kathy and I even went to Cebu Pacific office in Robinson's Galleria just to book our flights. And guess what? There are lots -- really lots of people availing the promo! And since the schedule of flights is per first come first serve basis, we ended up booking our flights online. Haha! If we only knew, we could have just booked it on our office.. oh well.. :)

♥ thank God it's Friday! ♥

First of all, let me greet my beloved cousin: Otanjoubi Omedetou, Ayis-chan!

So what'snew for me? uhmm.. nothing?! bwahaha.. :)

Kidding aside, i will be pre-occupied this month. I think so. *wink*

Next week, we will be having a post-summer-getaway courtesy of our company. I just don't know where, and I think that would be on June 9-10.

June 16 is the scheduled gathering of Arashi Philippines, and it makes me feel sad that I won't be able to join and meet them.. ;(

nande?

because...by June 15 to 18, I will be out of town. My officemates and I availed the P1 promo of Cebu Pacific. We're going to Palawan! weeeeee! And since it is drawing near already, I have to be financially prepared.. I think 7k is enough for the trip (4 days and 3 nights).*broke*

After that much-awaited trip, I will be looking forward for my 24th birthday this July. Unlike last year, I am planning to do something different this time. Here's what I came up so far:

1. Have my hair rebonded ( preferably, Japanese rebond ).
2. Buy another havaianas -- i am looking for thishavaianas nippon

3. Treat my officemates ( as usual )

With all my plans, I really need to start saving money. Ganbatte ne!

on my Japanese craze

Konnichiwa, minna! I have finally setup my live journal and I could now start blogging again about my life, stuffs and other stuffs. haha! And for this time, I would try not to limit my entries on anything related to havaianas (im on a rehab, so no havaianas for me until ... such time! hahaha).

Anyway, I have been into this Japanese craze lately. It all started when matsumoto jun caught my attention when I watched HYD (Hana Yori Dango) and Gokusen live action in DVD. Matsujun is so kawaii ne! So blame him.. He's the reason why I got myself hooked on him and to Arashi as well.. :D From there, I started liking Jdoramas and anything related to Japan..which I really never expected. Now, I'm starting to appreciate their culture. And to top it all, I am studying Nihongo. Sugoi ne! And I have a very long way to go..

And due to this craze, I found myself listening to Arashi and Utada Hikaru songs. Though I never understand the language, I appreciated their music from the way they sing, the melody and such. Good thing there are translated lyrics to help me understand the message of their songs. :D and my ipod is now loaded with their songs. Hehe! I know there are some people who find it weird, but it does not bother me at all. It's just that I appreciate Japanese music more than anyone else.

So last night, my cousins and I went to Video City to rent some movies. I never have any plans on renting since I have work in the morning, but I was wrong. And before I realized that, I found myself on the counter already holding the "Letters from Iwo Jima" vcd which starred Kazunari Ninomiya (Nino) of Arashi. Yes, I was able to watch it finally! It was a great movie and of course, Nino did very well.

nd here's my favorite quote:

Saigo: [a letter to Saigo's wife] We soldiers dig. We dig all day. This is the hole that we will fight and die in. Am I digging my own grave?

And oh, before I forgot.. I was able to change my nail polish as well last night while watching the movie. Hehe. Multi-tasking! Now I have "cherry-colored" nails.

so what am i now? havaianas junkie and fan girl rolled into one? hmm.. not bad! :D

excess:
i need to have that havaianas nippon! :D
if you happen to see one on AFF or Rustans, kindly inform me. :)

Havaianas Junkie Takes Bacolod

When I heard the news that I would be going to Bacolod for weeks, I thought it was a joke. I'd been wanting to go there given a perfect timing and a sufficient budget. But God is so good and I was able to make it for free. Honestly, I had never been to Bacolod before nor to other provinces in the Visayas Region. So the idea of going to the “City of Smiles” made me feel excited and nervous at the same time. Good thing there was Marvin to accompany me.

So what if that was my first Bacolod trip? Though I only stayed there to work, I've had an amazing time and I have stories you wouldn't believe. Even I couldn't believe them - and they happened to me which I really enjoyed and treasured.

Yes, I maximized my entire stay where I visited some places nearby, ate foods which cannot be found in Manila, saw the new SM Bacolod (still under construction), had trivia moments with my officemates, took some pictures, had my first-time-moments, gained new set of friends and the best of all, bought a limited edition Havaianas Butterfly in ruby red. It was a blast and that's only the beginning.

On the day of my flight back to Manila, my officemates and I went to a road trip. We called it “The Negros Occidental Road Trip”. I even used my new pair on the trip. It was fun. Crazy fun.

Our first stop was Silay, “The Paris of Negros”. We went to this “Balay Negrense”, an old house built some time in the Spanish era which on the latter became a museum. A lady dressed in baro't saya who happened to be one of the caretakers, gave us a short tour. And since were all camera addicts, we took lots of pictures in the house.

Then we went to Talisay - sir Eric's hometown. This time, we went to Spa by the Sea. I've been hearing lots of stories about the place so I decided to drop by before I come back to manila. Again, we had a short tour and took some pictures. We didn't stay long at the place because we had to get to our next destination right on time.

Our next stop was Murcia where we went to Mambukal resort, a pseudoheaven for the ecological enthusiasts. This is where we spent most of our time. We had lunch, toured the place and had Kodak moments with nature. The place is so relaxing that you can forget about the time. And yes, we almost forgot the time. We left the resort around past 4pm where I should at the airport by 5pm.

Since Panaad is in Bacolod, we managed to drop by. Then we went to Panaad Park and Stadium, Negros's version of Nayong Pilipino. Unlike Nayong Pilipino, the park only showcases the different aspects of the towns and cities within Negros Occidental. This is also where the Panaad Festival being held, the biggest festival in Negros Occidental. We had a few more shots and then we off to Casa Amparo to get all my things and say goodbye to my room which I started to love after the “mystery of my missing creamsilk pink sachet” incident.

The Bacolod Domestic Airport was my final destination. We arrived at exactly 5pm, few minutes before my flight. While waiting for the plane, I'm still reeling from the awesome two weeks that I've had in Bacolod. I really had a blast. Though I'm too tired from the road trip, I still managed to enjoy the view from the plane and thought of how to unload my stories. The trip was fast that I didn't notice that I'm finally home.

Bacolod is indeed "The City of Smiles". People are so accommodating and patient especially when they are communicating to strangers like me who slightly understand their dialect. Being able to visit Bacolod is such a wonderful experience and I would never forget all the things that had happened to me both happy and scary.

I heart Bacolod. I love it. Super duper love it.

And oh, did I mention that it was my first time to ride an airplane? Silly but true. And I savored that moment especially when I went back to Manila alone.

So what's my next destination? Palawan!
