i finally have a new CPU! woohoo.....
yesterday, glenn accompanied me in buying my new CPU. yes, finally! my old one may retire now..
you know, i've been using my old CPU since 2002.. and it's already 5 years ago. and i survived with that old model.. whoa!
so there, i was able to buy one.. actually, we just bought the parts and glenn assembled it..
we spent the entire day assembling it and it was tiring but fun..
i could still remember what he said to me yesterday while assembling it..
" wow! i have just assembled my dream CPU "...
yeah, he really likes my new CPU.. even the casing of it.. ahahaha...
take a look at the specs:
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E4400 2.0 Ghz/800 MHZ/2MB L2 CACHE/65NM LGA775 PROCESSOR
MSI 945GCMS-F I945GC/CORE2/DDR2 667/ 800 MHZ/PCIE/V/SND/SATA/LAN/MOTHERBOARD
LITE-ON LH-20A1H-LS 20X DVDRW SUPER-MULTI 20X LIGHT SCRIBE W/ BEZEL
SEAGATE 160GB SATA HARD DRIVE
KINGSTON 1GB DDR2 PC667 MEMORY
ICUTE ZL08-5G-BB 500W BLACK CASING
INNO3D GF 7200GS PCIE 256M DDR2 TV 64B DVI
for all of these, i have spent around 19k.. not bad for the CPU of a developer..
Sorry, but i don't have a picture of it yet..
now, i'm saving for the LCD monitor which is about 8k..
and oh, my parents will be buying a new computer table too... *wink*
yatta!
so there, i'm broke and i have to sacrifice some things for this..
